Maria Magalhaes, State Certified Massage Therapist

Maria was born and raised in Brazil. She moved to the United States in 1997 when she was seven months pregnant with her son, Tyler. Because of the stress and strain due to the extra weight of carrying a child, she realized that massage was very beneficial for her health–it was a necessity rather than a luxury. Then she had regular massages that helped her have a more tranquil, healthy and happy pregnancy.

Inspired by the relief she felt from receiving massages, she decided to help others by entering the massage therapy profession. She enrolled in an intense massage therapy course and further continued her education with more courses in a variety of specialized massage techniques.

Being one of the top in her class, she easily found a job in a local spa where she gained experience and perfected her skills. She quickly became one of the most sought after massage therapists. Word spread among the clientele about her amazing hands and unique style. As she continued to strive for success and advancement, she decided to move to Beverly Hills where she had the opportunity to work with A-list clientele.

Maria now works independently, focusing on creating a tranquil oasis where she can provide the best customer service and finest massage available anywhere.

Maria graduated from Glendale Career College and has been practicing massage therapy for over 20 years. Maria Magalhaes is a State Certified Massage Therapist, #3927, and a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Maria has also been recently certified as a Medical Massage Therapist by The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork by Dr. Bryan K. Hawley, DC.

She recently has been vaccinated against COVID-19.
